About This Spot

Stepping into Glacier Gosturani feels like discovering a gentle corner of Brussels where the pace softens and simple joys take center stage. Nestled on Rue Marie-Christine, this local spot carries the familiar hum of families settling in for a relaxed afternoon, children’s laughter mingling with the soft clatter of ice cream spoons and the occasional bounce from a nearby trampoline. It’s a place where time stretches just enough to savor a moment of sweetness without rush or fanfare.

The atmosphere here leans into warmth and ease. The space welcomes visitors with a casual, neighborhood charm that invites conversation and quiet smiles rather than hurried service. Behind the counter, the team adopts a quietly attentive rhythm, creating a subtle yet reassuring sense of care—an unspoken promise that this is a place where people, especially the little ones, are looked after with thoughtful kindness.

While the focus naturally lands on the array of ice creams, the experience never feels mechanical or staged. Choosing a flavor becomes part of a small ritual, a shared discovery among friends or family, punctuated by playful moments and the gentle cacophony of a terrace where sunlit tables beckon. The interplay between the refreshing treats and the space’s unpretentious comfort offers a welcoming retreat from the city’s bustle.

Glacier Gosturani may not claim the artisanal distinction often sought in Brussels’ historic ice cream spots, but it carries its own unique rhythm: accessible, cheerful, and just a touch playful. It offers an honest little delight, most appreciated as an inviting pause—a spot where both grown-ups and their children can find warmth, sweetness, and a sense of belonging under the gentle canopy of casual, everyday joy.

Reading the other reviews I was a bit sceptical when my kids wanted to meet their friends here. But it was great! We were tried chocolate, strawberry and caramel- all very good ice cream! Just to test if the reviews here were correct I actually asked him which ice cream is what and he explained it in a friendly way it’s true the ice cream Sundays are expensive but one scoop is at 2,5€ so fine. And of course the main reason my kids loved it- they have a huge trampoline in the backyard! Just one small negative thing was that the backyard has plastic grass and it was very dirty with lots of small rubbish. Would benefit from regular cleaning
